Congrats, dear Dr. Valerijs Skribans : I see that you are a hard and creative knowledge worker ! The forums will be a very good and helpful tool in developing a specific topical EEBEJ profile, e.g. transition economic research. As you know, I am more from the non-academic scientific side and my main focus is the real diffusion of economic ideas/ideals into practical applications, i.e. I see every EEBEJ edition as an outcome of an open discourse that is 'closed' by each issue. Knowledge is about predictability, but outcome is about applied wisdom. My very best wishes: Stephen I. Ternyik; social science researcher & entrepreneur (-1985).

Dear Dr. Skribans, A: Searching for "Eastern European Business and Economics Journal" through Yahoo, Google, and other search engines, I get no results. One thing that has to be done is to take care of this matter. B: The Journal should also make sure that joins RePEc beyond EconLit, EconStor, Google Scholar, Inomics, Microsoft Academic Search, OAISter/WORLDCAT, ResearchGate, Scirus, Sciverse,... Otherwise, the authors should be instructed to join MRPA and have the published version of their paper uploaded there as a working paper with the indication under their name: Published in Eastern European Business and Economics Journal, year, vol., issue, pp. The paper then will appear in RePEc and indirectly, the Journal. This is an important way to enhance the dissemination of research in the Journal and make the Journal well-known. C: Finally, both theoretical and empirical research should be welcome as well as research not directly relevant to Eastern Europe. The Journal is Eastern European in origin but does not confine attention to Eastern Europe the same way American Economic Review does not confine attention to America. The adoption of this approach to the content of the periodical will attract quality research, which, of course, is the ultimate purpose of a scientific journal. My best regards.

Thank you, Gerasimos! - Now, when we publish first issue, my first task is index it DataBases, I will do it as quick as possible. - I agree with you, journal topics not limited with Eastern European. (at this moment in second issue we have 2 articles not related with EE).

Dear Dr. Skribans,
I believe abstracting/indexing is critical issue. In the short term (2 years), our goal would be to reach econ-lit and then scopus. I agrre that topics should not be limited to some specific geographic region. Combining theoretical and empirical researches are also important, but of course the journal has strict line between academic and Professional writings. kind regards dr. yener coskun

Dear Dr. Skribans, I agree with Dr. Soldatos - making the published papers fully visible is crucial at this stage of Journal development. The idea is to make it free for non-subscribers or to follow Dr. Soldatos idea. Dear Monika, Gerasimos write in august, when we haven't published issue, from September I start work in indexation. So, biggest problem (is) will be solved. (I know RePEc, Google Scholar - it is OK).
Yahoo, Google - I think, we are here, but we are not very popular (no content in the web or no visitor/clicks per day). So if you want see journal here, please, help me in journal development.
research not directly relevant to Eastern Europe. - yes, we publish it! Thank you, Valerijs

FAQ - Scopus or Thomson Reuters my answer - they ask 1 year of the journal and/or at least 4 issues. We don't ready. It is reason why in this year we must publish according plan 4 issues!!! In this case we will be here in 2016!
